NTCA is excited to “kick off” our 10th anniversary school year! “It Takes Teamwork to Make the Dream Work!”. The 2012-2013 school year celebrates 10 years in the history of our school. The Academy started with a combined Kindergarten Readiness/Kindergarten class in 2002. The school has grown significantly and continues in that growth. We are counting on you to continue to be a part of the NTCA team and bring other families to join the team. You are the best advertisement for the school.

This May, NTCA will graduate our first 8th grade class. We know these students are prepared for high school, and we are confident that they have received an excellent foundation at North Texas Christian. God has blessed us by bringing amazing young people and families to the school.

The goal of the founders of the school is to provide quality, Christian education in North Texas. As we continue to support and improve on that goal, we are committed to making NTCA the school of choice in North Texas. As we grow and improve, we are excited to add programs to our middle school to make it better and better. We believe that adding extra-curricular activities where appropriate for all grades is one way to improve upon the excellent academic curriculum. Offering a balanced curriculum is an integral piece to any private school.

NTCA will continue to offer classes in preschool through eighth grade. Our focus will be to add to and improve our current grade level programs across the school. This is an exciting time because we will begin creating new traditions. We will be adding iPads and iPod touches to be used in the classrooms. This technology will benefit all students and will expand the curriculum beyond the walls of the school. We will be adding co-curricular options in academics, fine arts, sports and clubs. While we cannot add everything at one time, we will focus on what will benefit the majority of the students.

What we need from each of you is to commit to be the best team player that you can be. We also ask that you recruit new player to the team. We will send home flyers and other items that you can give other families when talking to them about NTCA. It takes the team working hard to create the winning season.

Our pre-enrollment will begin on February 7th. The pep rally will begin at 6:30. Please invite friends that might be interested in NTCA. You will have the opportunity to enroll that night. There will be drawings and other incentives for families who enroll that evening. We will also unveil plans for the 2012-2013 school year. Please mark your calendar and plan to attend.
